Shaman walked behind the little guy. Shaman had too keep him safe or Laurel and Ripple would skewer him. Shaman kept a close watch and kept his aura sensing open. Shaman racced ahead of Kazz. " race you ." Shaman yelled back.

"...what?!" Aipom stared openly at the second Ralts as he marched, his hands straining at their bonds. "You... you were a pair all along?!" He gritted his teeth and turned his head away then, biting back a curse. "Figures. It takes dirty tricks to catch a dirty monkey." From the corner of his eye, he glanced at the exploration team, and snickered.

"You know, you'd make good criminals one day, if you had the mind for it."

Jay rolled her eyes as she heard the Aipom's words, "Someone like you should have used your battling skills to keep the peace instead of cause strife and misery."
She didnt even turn to look at the monkey as she spoke.

"Keeping the peace?" Aipom laughed at that. "What does keeping the peace earn me, huh? I don't do anything unless there's something in it for me. It's a Houndour-eat-Houndour world out there, and you can only come out on top if you fend for yourself... and only yourself." He was looking straight at Jay now, a bruised, ugly smile on his lips. "True, right?"

"And that is why you lost. Teamwork is the way forwards. And you'd do well not to forget that, Outlaw, or not."

"Teamwork, huh?" Aipom chuckled. "I wouldn't object to working with others... that is, if I get a share of the winnings. If there's nothing in it for me, though, I'd rather just work alone. And..." he looked all around him, even behind him to where the Reuniclus was hovering. "Guess I have to admit that it doesn't always work out in the end. But hey, at least I don't have to share anything."

Jay shrugged then finally dissapeared with Kaz and Shaman.

Twayblade hopped in to help Kei keep an eye on the Aipom as they marched him back to the Police Station.
