new bird-humanoid thing in town

Sorren jogged allong the trial.i have to keep my pacing. don't want to get tired. that town with the guild should be close. Sorren thought. he stopped at the top of a hill. he could see a town filled with pokemon just up ahead. he ran down the hill eager to get to his new home. he stopped at the entrance to the town. it was a lot biger than his peaceful home. he re adjusted his Google and walked into the busy town of grassveil.

A Milotic slithered out from behind a stall. She immediately recoiled in surprise when she almost crashed into Sorren.
"Sorry...." she apologized, flicking her tail.
She dipped her head, again, continuing to apologize.

"AH!" sorren yelled. a milotic came out of no-were and almost ran him over. his claws were already glowing, preparing a brick break. Sorren calmed down and relaxed his muscles, the glow in his claws dissipating. "sorry, reflex." soren said, then noticed the milotic was apoligising to him. "its OK, don't worry about it, my name is sorren. nice to meet you." sorren bowed, witch was customary where he came from. it is a universal form of greeting most any pokemon can perform.

"I'm Aurora.." she replied in a slightly calmer tone, "Im part of a group of performers who travel..."

"nice to meet you, Aurora." Sorren said. " i'm new hear. so you're with a group of traveling performers, what do you guys do to perform?"

"We use water and psychic abilities to create dazzling shows of grace and skill." she chuckled and said it as if she had recited the line a few times before. "You just missed our performance here today..."
She flicked her tail again as she realized that she hadn't explained who she worked with. "Oh yes, my friends, Douglass and Archana work with me. Without them both the act would hardly be worth watching."

"cool, we never had performers come through our little village before, but that's in the past. do you know where the local guild hall is, i'm not in a rush, just want to know for future reference" sorren said.

The Milotic nodded, "In fact we're currently staying there, because i know the Guildmaster, Sapphire Gold."

"Sapphire Gold, that's an odd name. but it isn't my place to judge. do you have a gym or a dojo in town?" sorren asked.

"I dont think so. But then again, I've never looked for one myself. If you want to train with anyone though, the members of the Guild would be happy to help."

"that's actually why i'm here. i want to join the guild and use it to train, and seing new places is a bonus." sorren said.

Aurora grinned, "You will be welcomed at the guild then. They are always accepting new teams."

"cool, do you mind showing me the way, i don't know my way around here yet." sorren asked.

THe MIlotic nodded, "Sure!" then slithered off. She lead Sorren through Grassveil, occasionally stopping to glance at someones merchandise.

"hey Aurora, are you happy with your life?" sorren asked, walking along the bustling streets.

Aurora stopped and looked at Sorren, and odd look on her face as she wondered where on earth the question had come from. She carried on moving as she answered. "Yes. I'm happy with my life. If I wasn't i'd be striving to make it better, rather than staying in Grassveil..."

"sorry that question was too personal" sorren apologized. he looked up to the sky. "you're a milotic, can you fly?" sorren asked.

"I can 'fly', yes, though its rather more like floating. But I prefer to stick to the ground..."

"ah. well that is interesting. does the guild have a pool?" sorren said. gazing out into space. he wouldn't admit it, but ever since he was a little torchick, sorren wanted to fly.

"The Guild doesnt have a pool, no, but there is a pond just outside Grassveil."

"great, i like to condition myself against my weaknesses. generating fire underwater is a great way of doing it." sorren said. "oh, i can see the guild. thanks for showing me around, i'll try and see your next show" and with that Sorren ran off.

The Milotic nodded and watched Sorren rush towards the guild. After a moments thought, she decided that she would go and splash around in the pond. Weaving her way through the crowds, she thought about when Sorren had asked her if she could fly. She winced and shook away the memory before carrying on towards the pond.
