Solis' escort mission

Solis teleported into the guild, besides getting a few mean looks he was left alone. he took a page out of his bag, a job offer for an escort to the top of mt. Frostmeer. he tacked the page to the wall and sighed. he rested against the wall next to the bulletin board.

Yumi the Lopunny walked into the guild for the first time in a while. "It's nice to be back in town after adventuring with my team." she grinned as she looked up at the Bulliten Board. As the leader of team Fullmetal Charm, she was often busy with planning explorations and it was a rare treat for her to have time to take a job. She rubbed her arm brace as she looked around, then selected an escort mission from the board.

(Ooc: Yumi is like an Edward equivalent so she has a metal arm brace and Leg brace that makes her arm and leg look like they're made of automail.

Solis woke up. he had dozed against the wall. he walked up to the lopunny who was holding his job Request. "i really am getting too old for this." he said under his breath. "Hello Yu-dangit. sorry, i'm Solis and i presume you are the one who will take me to the top of Mt. Frostmeer? impeccable timing by the way Yumi." Solis face-winged(palmed). he had almost made it through an introduction without letting the other person know he already knew their names. "sorry. being able to see the future and being old make a bad combination."

"Hey, that's a pretty neat trick! I met a funny little Emolga who could do that too." Yumi laughed. She poked at her arm brace, which was making a funny sound. "That's odd. I must need another checkup." she mumbled.

"i assure you this is no trick. it's my life. as i get older it's harder to push back the visions. but they keep getting more and more accurate. it isn't telepathy, it's foresight. just like i know how that Scizor is going to trip." Solis said. and their just happened to be a Scizor walking by and lost her balance. Solis put out a wing to catch her. she regained her balance.

"Thanks" she said.

"no problem jade" Solis said, a very confused Scizor leaving. "but it is mostly random, and i can see through paradoxes, like if i did not say her name she would have introduced herself. that's how i know your name. i only have a few months left so i have to do this now, let's go. i'll pay you the 200 poke in full when we reach the top of the mountain, here have a down payment of 100 poke." Solis said, levitating his coin purse out of his bag.

(hopefully that wasn't too big of a deal. i just intended jade as a demonstration, she no longer exists )

"I- err- uh- okay, lets go." Yumi stammered, accepting the money. She had never encountered anyone quite like this before. At least he couldn't call her short.
