Sousuke's first ride

" It's just like roller skating." Sousuke told himself he strapped on his left shoe and then his right. " why am I even doing this?" He said to himself and sighed. Cause you lost a bet He thought and it was true he'd lost a coin toss and promised he'd try Ats. " What's the point?" He's caught himself saying that a lot lately. He noticed as he said it. He strapped on the right shoe and stayed seated he was on his stoop a street stretched out that was a straight shot she he'd guess this would be a good as place as ever to try them out. He stood and hadn't noticed he put pressure on his heel he started to race by his street going by quickly. " wow." He said in amazment he put more weigh on the heel and speed up.

Two figures were watching Sousuke as he took his first ride on AT. The one on the left said, "Well he seems to like it..." The one on the right said, "Yup, and you know what that means..." "He will be forming a team," the left one started, "and needing some members and training." the right one finished. "Then lets go tell the others," the one on the left said. He then vanished without making a noise. "Right," the one on the right said, he then vanished as well with a loud boom.

Sousuke soon ran out of road. " Oh man gotta turn!" He tried to he leaned the way he wanted to turn and found himself not turning he crouched and unstrapped the two skates. " Dang it, this is harder then it looks." He mumbled to himself and strapped them back on and cruised at a slow pace back to his house. he looked at the skate as he was able to stop with a little slide. He looked back at the road he had just raced down was he starting to like these Ats? No, he shook his head but he found himself locking the wheels and walking up his stoop and to his room with the air trecks still on.
The next day~

Sousuke entered his homeroom the bell had yet to ring he sat down in his seat. Immeditaly his friend Yousuke came over to him. " Dude you hear about those AT things?" HE asked

" Yeah got myself a pair was riding them like a pro last night!" He basically shouted. He seemed to be enjoying the fact he'd tried them more then he'd origenlly thought.

"Wait, you got AT's?" Kage asked, piping into their conversation.

"We will each be getting a pair for our birthday next week." Hibiki said.

" Yeah, I got'm last night." Sousuke answered the twins. He looked at the two still unable to tell them apart. " That's cool maybe we could ride sometime." He said to the one that had said they we're getting a pair on their birthday he guessed it was Kage

"Yea we should," Kage said.

"So how was your first ride?" Hibiki asked.

Sousuke blinked dang it was hard talking to these two he answered to the one he thought was Kage but was really hibiki. " It was pretty awesome I gotta say zooming by it felt great I didn't do anything special thou to be honest. " He then answered the real Kage." Sure anytime!" He said grinning.

Kage and Hibiki sat down at their desks, "We need to keep track of his movement involving AT," Kage wispered to his brother. "Yea, I will start looking in on other teams in the area." Hibiki wispered back.

Sousuke turned back to his friend Yousuke and they talked on until the bell and Yousuke went to his seat and Sousuke looked out the window as the teacher's lesson started he looked at the pavement outside and the land beyond and then up to the sky in the window. His legs touched the round and he lean slightly forward like he was imaging riding his AT's thou he didn't notice

--Time skip to after school--

"Hey Sousuke could we come over to your house and see you AT's?" Kage asked.

Sousuke took his shoes from his shoe locker and turned as he heard his named called. " Oh yeah sure." He nodded and slipped on his shoes. " I've only road for like 10 minutes last night thou." He reminded Kage so that his expetations wouldn't be too high.

"So," Hibiki said, "It would still be cool to see some real live Air Treck."

Sousuke made his way to the courtyard of the school. " The sky's clear today!" He said looking up and not seeing a single cloud.

Kage and Hibiki followed Sousuke outside, "Yup it sure it," Kage said looking up.

Sousuke ran outside the school gate and ran along the wall of the building outside he used to do this before after he won sports games but now he felt really good almost like he'd won a game but it was different cause he hadn't beat anyone, he just felt really great and he also really wanted to get to his house and grab his Ats.

"What did you do?" Kage asked, "Win a game or something." he said as he chuckled.

" I guess you could say that!" He said laughing he guessed it could have been a game, a game with himself after he'd lost interest in all things sports related he'd really stopped doing good in school too everything had become boring and it had been a boring game of just walking threw the day doing the same old same old but now there was something that excited him for the first time in a while.

"Well hurry up," Hibiki said, "We want to see your AT's then go home so we can do our homework."

" Okay I'll hurry!" Sousuke agreed and they raced towards Sousuke's house.

As they were heading towards Souske's house, all of the sudden a large group of Storm Riders where pure black outfits came up and surrounded the three of them. A few of them entered the circle and bumped into the three kids in the group, all without making a noise. They then left without a sound and went on to terrorize other groups of kids. "Jerks!" Hibiki shouted at them as they went off. Kage didn't say a thing and just looked dissapointed.

"wtf?!" Sousuke shouted he gave the riders the finger and some not so nice words before turning back to the twins. " Can you believe those guys who the heck do they think they are?!" He then stopped. " Actually who were those guys?"

"My guess is they are a team of Storm Riders," Hibiki said, "But more like a bunch of jerks if you ask me."

"They are called the Shadow Scythes," Kage said, "Just a bunch of jerks who usually ride at night and cause terror." Not only that, they ride the shadow road and totally mis-use it, he thought to himself.

" Maybe I could show them up." Sousuke thought aloud not really meaning it but wishing he could. " I just need some practice." He kept saying aloud, he started to tap his foot thinking now of what he could do to get back at those guys.

"Hm, yea maybe," Kage said, "Now come lets go see your AT's."

"alright!" Sousuke said and sped on home thou he still seemed troubled.

When they finally reached his house Sousuke called to his mom that he was home and then raced up and grabbed his ATs locking the wheels and slipping them on he hurried down the stairs. " here they are." He said stomping on the stoop outside to emphasize his Ats
