Exposed

I use to spend my time in the forests but today I decided I would go to town and relax a little, maybe sit on a coffee and watch other pokemon do their things while drinking something. Walking through the town center I spotted a lot of pokemon, some wearing colorful accessories letting you know they were from some guild or team, I don´t blame every explorer for my past but I don´t like them neither.

After a few minutes I sat down in a not too crowded place, Grassveil didn’t use to be so populated when I was a cub. While swimming on my thoughts I saw a raichu, it was carrying some wanted poster, intrigued I started following this pokemon, stealthy went in front of it without him noticing because of the distance and amount of pokemon around to take a good look at that poster.

"It can´t be!" I told myself while my heart started to pump quickly. That poster had my face on it! this... explorer raichu or whatever it was, heading to hang it somewhere, I had to get my paws on that thing one way or another, as it went through in front of me without noticing I started to walk behind it making sure I was far enough so the pokemon that could take a look at the poster didn’t see me neither. Someone made my front legs trip over with a foot, I fell almost right in my face, annoyed turned back and yelled "Hey! Look where you are going!" the yell was quite loud, so loud that it dragged the attention of some pokemons around, when seeing this I hoped that the raichu I was following didn’t notice me, if that raichu is smart enough it could easily spot me after taking a look at that poster.

Well, looks like I'm here. Mizu thought to himself as he walked into Grassveil. The piplup looked around, wondering where to go first. Soon he felt his stomache rumble, and thought he might go get something to keep him full before he went to the guild. It was a nice day too, so that added to the idea of walking a little more outside to get something to eat. He noticed all of the pokemon around, all of them seemed busy, all of them doing something, no one really just resting.

After a little bit of walking, Mizu was finally near the cafe, but then noticed the place he was going to wasn't actually the cafe. He had gotten lost. I knew I should of brought a map. he scolded himself inside his head. He looked around at the other pokemon and tried to ask them about where he was, but none of them would respond to him. They all just kept walking, doing whatever it was they were doing. The proud pokemon sighed, and continued to walk away, trying to get anywhere.

"Hey! Look where you are going!" Mizu heard the voice from a little bit away, and saw a Leafeon having just tripped a little. He ran over to the Leafeon, hoping he was okay. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked the pokemon, worried that the Leafeon might have hurt himself when he tripped.

Zepheric had been in Grassveil for a couple of days now. She was visiting a friend of hers she knew since she was a Pichu. It always felt a little awkward to visit after so long but he was one of the rare Pokemon she would trust. It was also the reason why the Raichu accepted to help with the guild tasks and agreed to go out with a pile of poster to set them around the town.

As long as it didn’t involve any kind of socialisation with strangers she was glad she could help a friend. Going around the crowded areas of the place still freaked her out a tiny bit though. She hurried through them, feeling the urge to get out of the crowd overwhelming her every time she would get touched.

After going through most Grassveil she was finally reaching the last spot. She was almost done when she engaged in another spot filled with Pokemon. Once again she was filled with the need to get away. At that moment she heard someone shouting loudly “Hey! Look where you are going!”. Without thinking nor trying to figure out if it was directed toward her, she dashed through the crowd.

She really felt terribly nervous around people it was awful.

Off: I was like typing in first person, but yeah whatever lets go with third haha.

Meadow looked back at the pokemon he tripped with, It was just a not very strong looking Piplup who casually made him trip over his face, getting on his four legs replied back, -Yes I´m okay, but not thanks to you.- after saying this he looked back at the Raichu he was following just to notice that it had just started running away from where he was getting lost in the crowd of different size and colored pokemon of the town, exalted he looked back at the Piplup -¡Hey you! ¡¿Where does the wanted posters end up at?! ¡That raichu, that just ran away has a wanted poster of someone really important to me That I´m looking for, it probably has valuable information about him! - said with a loud voice to the innocent Piplup almost losing all formality that he barely had towards him, he really didn’t want to become a noticed outlaw, especially in his birth place.

Mizu backed up slightly, shocked by the outburst. "Well, I have a name you know. I'm Mizu. The wanted posters usually get posted in and around the guild building. And how about your name?" He said with a slight huff. He looked around at all the other pokemon in the crowd, trying to find a pokemon that was holding any signs. He soon noticed the Raichu in the crowd. Why would the person this Leafeon's looking for be on a wanted poster? Mizu thought to himself, curious about the whole situation. "We should go find those posters then." He said, and then trailed off. "Well, do you know your way around town?" He asked, remembering that he himself had been lost, and couldn't remember how to get anywhere.

After a few minutes dashing through people, Zepheric stoped at the last spot she was supposed to leave the last poster. Woah, thecrowd really freaked her out. She was still panting a little... She sat next to the wall a few minutes to catch a breath before getting back up and setting the poster on the said wall. Slowly. She wasn’t in a hurry to return into that deluge of pokemon.

She took a few steps back, looking at her work, not quite thrilled about going back through the town. She finally turned back heading back to her friend’s place trying to make herself as small as possible.

-yeah all right mr. Mizu, my name is not important right now, I’m kinda in a rush, I just need to find that raichu.- he replied without hesitation and started walking to where the raichu had gone, but turned back as the piplup kept talking to him. –Yes, I know my way around here, I grew here. So you are willing to help me out eh? Smart guy. - Meadow said with a suspicious low laugh, he sighed looking back at his objective was supused to be and said with a low voice but enough for Mizu to hear. –I will go get a good meal if all this goes well. –

He watched the pokemon walk around for a few seconds trying to think what he was going to do, this was awful, if that poster reached its destination he would lose everything he knew on this town, town where he had never done anything wrong, the only place he could be a pokemon like any other, his crimes around other cities and towns had not been as unnoticed as he thought.

Galeno entered Grassveil walking from the forest. He was supposed to met Meadow in the forest, but when he came back from gather food, Meadow wasn't there.
"Where is him and what new problem has he made ...again" He though, this wasn't the first time.
He spent some time walking down the Grassveil streets, staring the crowd, trying to locate his partner. Galenos use to look dangerous, but right now he was in a really bad mood, so the other pokemons tried to avoid him.
After looks around the usual places ( like the police station), he spotted his objective down the street. He began to chase him, walking through the crowd...

"What was that?" Mizu asked about the last part Meadow had said, and then dismissed it although still slightly suspicious. "You know what? Fine, I don't need to know your name then. You can lead the way to the guild." He continued with another huff, slightly irritated at the pokemon's lack of helpfullness even when Mizu was trying to help him. He looked around while he waited for the leafeon to start moving, and noticed a rather menacing luxray head their way. "Hey, uh, is that a friend of yours? If not, I suggest we get going." Mizu said, slightly unnerved by the figure going towards them. Especially since the luxray was an electric type, which didn't work well with Mizu.

Zepheric carefully engaged in the crowded area, looking around her. Everyone seemed to mind his own business until she noticed that one pokemon who was looking right at you. Strange enough, it was the exact same species of pokemon as the one on the posters you just had distributed all over Grassveil... and there was that terrifying Luxray heading toward him. Zepheric wasn’t sure if she was imagining all that but she was petrified anyway; that leafeon was still looking at her.

-The guild is pretty close, it’s just that is so crowded that you can barely see it now.- Meadow was short in time and a little exalted about the whole situation and his words came out of his mouth. Mizu mentioned a luxray and it just popped up right into Meadows head, the name Galeno “I totally forgot about the forest thing, he must be so pissed right now.” Thought while letting out a sarcastic giggle, right away he switched back to his serious look, it was no time to deal with his arguing about why he wasn’t there and blah blah, I had to find that Raichu.

Looking back at where the guild was supposed to be he ironically saw the Raichu he was looking for, who was staring at him like if he was some kind of ghost, Meadow assumed the worse and went towards it without thinking twice about it and told his two companions with a cold voice –you wait here.- said that, he continued to trot towards the raichu. When in front of her she didn’t really move much so Meadow sat right on her side and pulled her gently from her right shoulder making Meadows mouth closer to the raichus ear and said. –Very well, because of the look of your face I´ll assume the obvious, you really should not tell this to anybody you know, If my face is in that thing it must mean something right? Now if you could just lead me to where you left that poster that would be nice of you, if you run or talk about this I´ll hunt you down, so if you hand me the poster and no more than around ten Pokémon find out about it I´ll let you go, sounds like a generous deal don’t you think? - Meadow kept silent for a few seconds looking back at the other two. –so we have a deal?

Galeno was just some meters away from Meadow and a Piplup. Suddenly he saw Meadow making one of his mischievous faces and the Piplup not very amused. When Meadow ran away he expected that he had done something. " Oh no, not again! Sure he stole something to that guy and now I'll have to clean his mess" he though.
He reached the Piplup, "lets try to minimize the damage" he thought
- Excuse me lad. Has that leafeon disturbed you? - he asked to the Piplup calm and firm.

-- waiting for Mizu--

Mizu jumped slightly at not seeing the Luxray untill he had asked him the question. "What? Well, slightly. He said he was looking for a friend of his on those posters, but no, he hasn't caused me any direct trouble." He answered. At least, not yet. Mizu thought to himself, still suspicious about Meadow. He saw the leafeon question the Raichu, and thought he was just asking about his friend. So, this is the guild? I was right in front of it! He continued to think, realizing that he had been near it the whole time. He then realized he had never introduced himself to the Luxray. "So what's your name? I'm Mizu." He said to him.

Zepheric was having the spook of her life. She was trapped. She knew she wasn’t completely wrong to avoid people.

“Now if you could just lead me to where you left that poster that would be nice of you” the leafeon whispered in her ear.... She was paralysed by fear. She wasn’t going to make it, she couldn’t do it, she was going to die!! She was panicking so much she felt like she was about to faint.

The raichu was hardly breathing and her voice was weak and shaky. “which one?” she asked reluctantly.

He moved his face away from the raichu, started playing with his paw nails and said. –Oh you know, that one you where walkingighdahawhat?!- He babbled when he understood what the raichu meant. –You mean there was more than one?! This is worse than I imagined! - Meadow tried to think as fast as he could to not brag attention, looked back at Mizu and Galeno and told the raichu. –All right all right, there is still time, lead me to them anyway! How many are they?! And you know how it is! More than 10 pokemon knows and you´ll have to face your fate! Now come over here.-

Meadow dragged the Raichu along and stepped in front of both Pokémon’s, -Hey friend, sorry for not being there, or whatever, anyway this raichu over here is going to help us out in finding… you know eh… my brother… they hanged some posters of him- saying this Meadow gave a signal to Galeno for him to play along with some face gestures. –Maybe in the posters we can find some information about where he is okaaay??-

Galeno stared at Mizu and saw that he has a bag of pokes, so he assumed that Meadow didnt steal him.
- The name is Galeno, nice to meet you. Nice scarf by the way, looks well on you...
When suddenly Meadow appeared with a ...big and not very amused Raichu.
"Oh no, he has done something. And he is making the 'I'm trying to look like a bad guy' face again" he thought.
When Meadow mentioned the posters, Galeno looked at the posters that the Raichu was carrying. His sharped eyes told him what he had to know.
"'Wanted' posters?! Arceus! I didn't expect they'd put a reward for his last... mischief" he thought. He tried to read the Raichus face. "hmm she doesnt looks like she has recognized. I need to do something, THINK" he though keeping his face as calm as always.
When Meadow finish his show, Galeno glared at him during 6 seconds and finale spoke:
- You should have waited for me in the forest. Lately, you have the bad habit to disappear and make people uncomfortable. I propose that you wait somewhere, while I gather that information.
Then he looked at the Raichu more gently. She looked very nervous.
- By the way, Ms Raichu, you looks like you have took one of my friends jokes too serious. So trust me, he will behave properly

"Oh, uh, thanks." Mizu replied to Galeno, not expecting the compliment. He saw as Meadow came back with the Raichu, and also noticed the Raichu looking extremely nervous. Mizu listened to the conversations closely, and if he had an eyebrow he would have raised it. He was becoming more suspicious about the luxray and leafeon by the second, but decided to continue helping them.
"Alright then, why don't we go look for some of the posters." Mizu said, and also walked so he was standing next to the Raichu. If he could without the other two noticing, he wanted to ask her what Meadow had said to her that made her seem so anxious and nervous.
"We could split up so we can cover more ground in finding them, two groups of two. Does that sound good?" He suggested to the group, wondering if they would actually listen to the idea.

Zhepheric was slowly getting conciderably dizzy with both the stress of being in a that weird situation and not even being sure of what was happening. She didn't have a clue of what she would do to get herself out of this. She felt weak and shaky. She knew she'd have to say something eventualy but the anxiety and all those pokemons talking to her at the same time were making it hard to put her ideas straight...

I uh.. th-the poster it... it's the ta that way I hum and uh.." She mumbled weakly trying to point where she was coming from.

While she was talking her head started feeling heavy and her body felt more and more numb. Her vision Blurred until everything was white and she fainted, crumbling on the grass.

Meadow looked at Galeno cynically -Great Galeno, look at what you´ve done, you scared her to death with you big ugly face.- This was so annoying, he’s not so elaborated plan was getting even more messy, the raichu had fainted and was laying on the grass on her chest, he pushed her around on her back for her to breath better and asked everyone else to step back. -Are there medic pokemons around or something?-

Galeno glared for a second to Meadow, the kind of glares equivalent of a hiperbeam.
-When was the last time you visited a medic pokemon?- he said ironically
He examined the Raichu, and said:
-She looks exhausted, maybe she has overworked today- looking at Mizu, he continued:
-Mizu, that was a good idea, but that plan must wait. I think the priority is help to our new friend. We should take her to an inn, so she can rest. If you have not any objection: help me to carry her, and Meadow: could you lead the march, please?

"Right, I can help." Mizu said, and started to pick up the Raichu, waiting for a little help from Galeno. He wasn't exactly a very strong pokemon, and a raichu wasn't exactly the lightest one, so that made things slightly difficult. I think it's safe to assume that these guys aren't really looking for a friend, but I can't just leave the Raichu with them. He thought to himself, thinking he would go along with it untill the Raichu was recovered.
