History: Bob wasn't always the tough Butterfree he is today. When he was just a young Caterpie he was picked on by other pokemon his age. He always ran home to his mother who told him that he would one day be much more powerful than any of them and he believed her. After evolving into a Metapod he tagged along with some exploration teams never staying with them for long (mainly because they used him as a decoy most of the time). So once he evolved again into his current Butterfree self he's been searching for an exploration team that would accept someone like him into their group.
