Honing Techniques

Tsukishiro gracefully bounded down towards the pond as she contemplated what techniques she would practice with her partner. She had to admit, her Perish Song and Iron Tail moved needed some work.

Kurotaiyou lept in the air to meet the Iorn Tail. "Did you forget Shiro-chan? Steel-type attacks won't work on Fire-types that well!" she shouted pushing herself at the matalic tail.

"Maybe not, but this will."
She broke contact with Kuro's head and used Dark Pulse, the deep purple and black attack coming from the Absol's open mouth.

Kuro felt the force of the Dark Pulse and was pushed back. "Whoah!!"she went flying close to the edge of the pond.

Tsukishiro stopped immediately and landed gracefully on the ground.
"Careful." she chuckled, "Don't want you falling into the pond!"

Kurotaiyou sighed as she got up, "I know that. I'm not gonna Fa~ll!" she shouted as she slipped into the pond.

Tsukishiro blinked then hopped over to the edge of the pond, "Are you alright?" she asked.

Kuro got up from the shallow end, "Yeah I'm o-- Achoo!" she sneezed.

The Absol chuckled, "You should create yourself a little fire and keep warm while you dry off."

"Good idea." Kurotaiyou said making a small fire as she got out of the water,

Tsukishiro just nodded and padded over to the edge of the pond. She bent her head town and took a drink from the water.

"There is one thing i don't get. How can a fire type get a drink of water?" Kurotaiyou asked Shiro-chan.

The Absol looked up from where she was drinking and laughed. "I would have thought that all fire types have some system or genetic trait that enables theme to drink without dousing their inner flames."

"Huh. Well that really interesting. I waunder if there are any mission in the bulliton bord yet?" Kurotayou asked herself. She got up and scrapped her back feet to kick sand into the fire. She shook the extra water off and looked at her friend, "Want to go try to find a mission?"

"Sure!" she grinned. "It would be good to put our practice into something useful."

Kuro laughed, "I was just thinking the samething. There was quite a few posters for help the last time I looked." the Houndoom said as she started to walk.

Tsukishiro nodded, "We should try taking more than one request at the same time. It would be great for helping us improve our overall skills of observation and mutitasking."
The Absol chuckled then turned and started following Kurotaiyou back towards the Guild.

"It has been a while have you seen any new requests?" Kuro asked thinking of what shey should get for what ever mission they would take.

"No... I haven't really checked... We could always choose an outlaw or two to chase after though." she replied, glancing up at the clear sky.

Kurotai you laughed, "Yeah that'll be a good amount of exersize." she said as she broke into a run.

"I agree." she chuckled, dashing after the Houndoom.
The reached the guild not long later, as I see no reason to delay their arrival any further.
Tsukishiro padded through the open guild doors and down the steps towards the area where the bulletin boards were.

The Houndoom looked at the posted in the board. "I don't see any outlaw missions. Why don't we do this one with the Seviper?" she asked grabbing the paper with her mouth. Kurotaiyou was trying to becaful at not getting any drool on it.

This wily Seviper has been trashing our tribe's crops for far too long. Please get rid of him, and be careful of his poisonous attacks! Client: Zangoose Objective: Apprehend Seviper Place: Shadowhue Forest Difficulty: A Reward: 1 Sitrus Berry + 450 Poke

The Absol read the poster before nodding.
"Shadowhue huh? Sounds like fun."

Kurotaiyou grined, "Sweet. Do we have everything we need?" she asked. She checked her bag and saw that she had an Oran berry and a Blast seed.

"I guess. I don't need any berries or anything. You ready?"
Tsukishiro turned to exit the guild,
"Oh yea, don't forget to put that mission in your bag too!" she grinned.

"Sure thing." Kurotaiyou said as the put the poster in her bag. "Come on let's get going." she said heading for the exit.
