Meating?

A cream leopard-cub-sized she-cat tumbled out of a den nestled in the side of a mountain, her forest green eyes sparkling and shimmering. "Vry-chan! C'mon the weathers great! You can't stay in there forever!" She then wiggled her haunches and leaped onto a low hanging branch, tail dangling over the side.
"Coming" a grey fox called from the hole. She padded out, her looks stunning. She smiled good naturedly and padded to the branch that the cream cub sat upon. "What shall we do Ari? Play around the top of the mountain or go exploring?"
Ari shrugged "I dunno" Suddenly the leaves on the tree rustled and a black feather floated to the ground in front of the foxes paws.

Karasu watched the two demons from her vantage point in the tree. She furled her wings, but as she did so, she rustled the tree branches and lost a feather. She silently cursed herself for revealing her position, but the demons were young.. so there probably wasn't much to worry about.

"Oi! Whos there eh?" Ari shouted. Vry shook her head "Don't try and act Canadian, Ari" Ari pouted

[Lol, we're in the fuedal era in japan, i doubt they'd know about canadians]

The half-demon leaped down from the tree, landing neatly on her feet, her wings slowing her fall. After she landed, she furled them again. "My name is Karasu..."

(Shhh no one needs to know that ;D)

"Hiya!" Ari flashed a grin, jumping onto the ground and winking. "I'm Ari! Pleased tah meet yah"
Vry smiled "Hello. I am Vryarin. Its wonderful to meet you" Vry most definitely had better manners

Karasu blinked. Why had these two just greeted her so warmly. She was used to being shunned because she was a half-demon, not just accepted without a second glance.
"Uh.... hello..."

Ari just gave a little giggle, running up a hill. Vry on the other hand could sense that Karasu was a bit apprehensive. "We're both full demons you see. Ari and I. We rely on each other to keep each other safe." Her words were soft and kind.

Karasu sighed as a slight twinge of jealousy crept over her now that it was confirmed, "Full demons huh?"

"It isnt all fun and games." Vry said softly. "We're hunted down because we have bad reputations. We're always on the run. This home is only temporary like all the others.." Ari suddenly came bundling down the mountain, flying straight into Vry and bowling her over, Ari tumbling off and slamming into the tree.

"Huh. At least you're accepted by someone and not just chased away. I don't belong anywhere. I'm a half demon... an outcast. I cant live with humans because they fear demons and demons wont accept me because i'm part human."
Karasu's mind was suddenly filled with the memories from her childhood.... but she shook them away and unfurled her wings.

Vry touched Karasu's foot with her nose after standing up with an indignant look at Ari. "I can tell how hard life must be for you" she murmured. "Why don't you stay with us for a while? We don't care who your parents were and if your a half breed." Ari nodded in agreement with Vry's statement

The half demon blinked and furled her wings again. "I-i guess it wouldn't hurt..." she replied quietly. Inside she was actually fairly glad that they at least accepted her for who she was....

Ari twirled around "Great!" she rubbed against Karasu's ankles with a grin. Vryarin chuckled a bit. "Welcome to the family, Karasu"

Karasu watched them for a few seconds then smiled. Maybe things were looking up for her. She had friends now, friends that accepted her.

Vry lolled about for a few moments, staring at the birds that flew across the sky from time to time. "Is it fun to fly?" She asked after a bit, Ari jumping around in a small valley below, shouting and whooping.

Karasu smiled as she watched the birds and thought about it. She sat down, "Yes.... Flying is a wonderful thing."

Vry smiled, her rper wishing she had her new feather-sona right now XDD. "Mm i'm starving" The fox stretched, her back arching and her zebra striped tail flickering in the wind. Ari popped out of a gopher hole "Indeed!" her head was once again out of sight

The half demon turned her attention back to the young demons. "We could go and find some food... I'm sure I could carry you both for a short distance..."
Karasu spoke with a hint of awkwardness... as if she didn't know whether the two would continue to accept her for what she was...

"Oh you'd really do that? That's so kind of you Karasu" Vry smiled warmly, tail waving happily. Ari popped out of a foxes den, tail waving wildly back and forth. "Awesome! Mmm i'm sooo hungry"

Karasu smiled and spread her, rather large, feathered wings. She bent down and picked up both of the young demons in her arms.
"What sort of food do you prefer?" she asked as she gently flapped her wings a few times to test if she could still fly whilst carrying Ari and Vry.

Vry thought for a moment. "Well i like small rodents.." She said in her quiet voice "Fruit is good too."
The cream demon licked a paw in thought. "I like rabbits" she grinned dreamily. "But fruit'll do for me as well."

She laughed, "Since you both like fruit we'll see if we can find some growing anywhere."
The half-demon took off, her large wings easily carrying all three of them.
