History with Mysteries

Drake was ecstatic, drunk with happiness, he was going on a four to six day hike to another town to find out what the pokemon have reported seeing.

He was a little mad when they told him he had a partner, but then again 6 days is rough for anyone.

His pack had only a few items such as blast seeds and various orbs, the rest was filled with Big Apples and various Berries.

He waited at the edge of the town for his partner

"Dont worry I wont." she chuckled keeping her senses alert for anything and everything.

Drake opened up his tent, feel free top join me if you get cold, and Laurel, if you get tired just wake me up, sound good? ok night guys" Drake said the last bit crawling into his tent

"Night Drake" The glaceon murmured, her tail crossing over her nose

The Snivy decided to get up and stretch her legs a bit. She scouted around for a tree and decided to climb up it and sit in one of its branches..

Ripple yawned, opening her eyes. "Is it time for my shift Laurel?"

"I think so..." she replied from the tree, leaning her head againsed the trunk and practically falling asleep on the branch. "I think i'll just stay up here....."

Something rustled in the bushes

Drake stirred in his sleep, dreaming of fighting a tough tyranitar in his sleep

Laurel woke with a start, hearing the rustles in the silence of the night. She glanced around to check if the others were alright.

Drake sat up quickly, hearing a snapping of twigs. He then crawled out of the tent

"What was that?" he whispered?

"I dont know..." replied the Snivy quietly.

Whatever it was it stayed quiet, Drake looked around trying to see any more movement

"Wheres Ripple?" Drake whispered noticing she wasnt there

"Wasnt she on guard?" asked Laurel, "I fell asleep so im not sure what happened after that."

More rustling came from the west of them, then dead silence
