On a Break....

Twayblade wandered through the Pecha Forest, picking the odd ripe berry from a tree every so often. She was taking a short, hour or so break from the paperwork of the Police Station to enjoy the fresh air. She took a bit into one of the sweet pink berries and savoured its taste, before climbing into a tree to watch the world go by.

"Right. Can you help me get down please?" Ren was about to get down when she saw how hight she was. Hold on Starfire I'm coming. she thought.

Twayblade smiled apologetically, "Yea, sorry!"
She helped the Purrloin down from the tree then double checked to make sure that the Beedrill had gone, before she started making her way towards where they had come from.

"But the strange thing is that she is scared of Beedrill. So she must of had help. Ren explained. Starfire was stung by a Beedrill when she was smaller and is now terrefied of them.

Twayblade shrugged, "Maybe she ddi. We'll find out when we find her."

Fallowing the trail, Ren was thinking of when she and Starfire first met. "Do you want to know how Starfire and I met Twayblade?" she asked.

Twayblade nodded, "Sure!"

It was Ren was 5 years old, she was playing with a leaf when she bumped into a Vulpix. Oh, my! Are you ok?" the Vulpix asked. It's ok. My name's Ren. What's yours?" she asked the Vulpix. "M-my name is Starfire." she said in a small voice. "Riiiing! Ursariiiiiinnnnnng!" Just then the two kids heard a loud raor followed by an Orange beam coming at them. The two started to run.

"What is it?!" Starfire asked while screaming. "It's an Usaring! keep running." Ren told her. Then Ren tripped over a rock and fell. Starfire saw that Ren was on the ground and tried to help her new friend. "Ember!" she shouted releasing a small flame at the rampaging Ursaring. The attack was usless and Ursaring was about to fire its Hyper Beam again and the two kids closed there eyes when the wind blew and Ursaring was hit by an attack. Ren opened her eyes and gasped, "Starfire look!" she exclaimed.Starfire opened her eyes. The pokemon that had rescued them was...

"Oh.. pelase carry on!" grinned Twayblade, who had gotten into the story and wanted to know how it ended.

Laughing Ren contiued her story. When the two kids looked up they saw a young Leafeon. Both girls were amazed at his power. But the Ursaring didn't think so, it started to use Focus Blast at the Leafeon. "Whatch out!" Ren cried. the Leafeon leapt into the sky dodging the attack. While in the air he used Quick Attack, jumping around the Usaring and to dodge its Slash attacks. Leafeon got behind Ursaring and used Razer Leaf finnishing it off.
The Ursaring fainted, Ren and Starfire ran up to the Leafeon, "That was so cool!", "How did you do that?", You were like 'Rawr!' and he was like'Roawr!'"Then they both said at the same time, "That was amazing! what's your name?!" The Leafeons eyes were wide in shock at the girls excitment. Then he went back to his calm gaze,It was in my way. My name is of no concern to you kids." he stated. Talk about getting hit with an Ice Beam. The two girls were frozen in shock, and the Leafeon was already going up the hill. "But he's just a kid too." Starfire said in a small voice.

"And tha's how Starfire and I meet." Ren told Twayleaf.

Twayleaf? xD Thats not a bad name actually XDD

Twayblade grinned, "Thats awesome! Did you ever find out the Leafeon's name??"

"No we haven't seen him since then." she told Twayblade. Looking back she was still anazed at his strength and speed.

"Thats a shame.." she replied, "Oh well. Lets keep looking for Starfire."

"Ok. " Ren mewed. I waunder where he is? she thought soon they were nearing the egde of the forest.

As they reached the edge of Pecha Forest Twayblade stopped. "Well wherever those Beedrill came from, it's further than just the forest... if we keep going this way, we'll reach the pond that's just outside Grassveil."

"Grassveil?" Ren asked. Looking around she tried to find the pond. Taking a deep breath,Starfire!!" she called out the name echoed through the air.

"Grassveil is the town nearby. Its where I live and work." she smiled.
The Grovyle waited for a response to Ren's calling but when none came, she began walking again.

"Where could she be?" Ren asked herself. It was starting to get dark.

"If it gets dark, you could always come and stay with me and Kei for the night, and we can carry on looking for her in the morning...." offered Twayblade, "We have some comfortable beds in the police station."

Ren blinked, Police station? she thought ina high voice. "Yes please if its not too much trouble. Who's Kei?" she aske Twayblade. Ren didn't want to be rude and she tried her best to keep calm.

"Keisatsu is my mentor." she smiled, "and the Police Chief."

Ack! T-the Chief of Police?! Why am I worrying? I've done nothing wrong! Rens mind was ina state of panic and for some reason she felt dizzy and she began to fall backwards.

"Ren!?"
The Grovyle quickly caught the Purrloin before she fell and hurt herself....

Ren struggled to open her eyes, "I don't feel so good." she whispered. Ren body was warm but she felt cold. She shivered.

The Grovyle blinked, she didnt know what to do about illnesses..... "Can you walk a bit further?"

"I'll try. I think worried about Starfire that I made myself sick." Ren said in a small voice and walked a few paces but callapsed. She tried to get up but she didn't have the strength.
