Calming a Legend!

Falco waited for his best friend and teammate/leader Fox near the trail that lead to Mt. Frostmeer. He was excited for yet another grand undertaking, and he was sure this one would be HUGE. The team was going to have to scale Mt. Frostmeer, enter it from the crater on the peak, and find out what was causing all the blizzards (which it was summer) in town and surrounding areas.

"being a fire pokemon, this is gunn be cake for me, you probably wanna stay off the ground falco" Fox said as they walked out of the village.

Fox had packed his bag with plenty of essential items, Berries, thorns, blasts seeds, and other random items

"Eh, keeping speaking for yourself." Falco laughed. "If my wings freeze, my wing freeze. End of story."

He flew over a large chunk of ice on the road. "Wow, that ice hunk is huge! You don't normally see that during the summer." he said as they walked on.

"Someone is really mad if their making snowstorms in summer" Fox said walking past the block and melting it with his breath

"and i'll defrost you buddy!" Fox teased

"Totally." Falco agreed.

"And let's just see who's hauling who up the mountain, fire breath!" Falco teased back.

"I don't wanna sprint up the mountain falco" Drake said in a tone that only falco knows to translate "We take our time and assess the area"

"Oh-ho-ho!" Falco replied. "I see that you have been practicing on your punnery, good sir!"

"Oh you know it!" Fox retaliated.

A little more than three hours later, they arrived at a small summit near the middle of the mountain

"Wow, this is really something!" Falco said. "These Blizzards are HUGE! Maybe we should stop for a rest." Falco suggested.
"Just don't fall asleep!" he joked.

[You do know, the mountain itself is meant to be covered in blizzards anyway XD]

From Mt Frostmeer's peak, Articuno watched the two explorer's progress. They will not get away with this.... she thought.

Fox plopped on the ground and opened his bag with his snout, then started a fire with some thorns and his flamethrower.

"These storms suck, and i'm starting to think they weaken my fire moves" Drake wasn't sure what he was talking about

Falco flapped his wings, shaking off many icicles and frozen feathers. "Wow, we still have a way to go, don't we?" she said, looking up to the peak.

"Eeeehhh.....id say one more this time tomorrow we should be at the peak, unless we randomly find a secret path.."

Fox's voice trailed off as a rumble up the mountain got louder and louder, then fox realized what was going on.

"AVALANCHE!!!! QUICK FALCO IN THERE!!!!" Fox gestured towards a cave they were now both sprinting to.

They got in just as snow covered the entrance of the cave

The avalanche rummbled down and blocked the entrence to the cave, making it pitch-black inside.

"Just great." Falco said. "Do you think you could give us some light Fox?"

"Only if you want your face burned off....... nah im just kidding, stand back" Fox let out a mighty roar with his flamethrower, the noticed there were torches he lit up, showing that there was much, much more to the cave

Falco's eyes grew wide. "Whoa." he said.

Guess that was a pretty big fluke. Oh well, good for us!"

Fox started his way through the cave

"Weren't we a situation like this?" Fox tries to recall some point like this, but cant recall

"Hmmm..." Falco tried to think.

"I don't think so." He said unsure of himself.

"Oh well, we've seen to much to remember it all right?"

What felt like forever to Fox was probably only......45 minutes tops, they saw a opening up ahead

"Huh. Looks like we're headed twoards the end." Falco remarked.

He was getting eager to see what was at the end.

They got outside of the tunnel, fox realized it was a tunnel when he looked over the side and saw grassville as a tiny little dot in the distance.

"Holy crap we made it, betcha i could hock one wicked loogy from this height" Fox jeered laughing heartily

"Yeah, you would probably drive it right through someone's skull!" Falco laughed. He looked down at Grassveil.

That's when fox heard a great big snore

Articuno watched the two explorers progress from the top of the mountain...
Not much further, and they'll reach the peak.... she thought

Falco looked to his friend, he looked as if he was listening to something,

"Yo, you ok?" he asked.
