Detective RP Sign-Ups

You are a homicide detective and part of a team in the California Bureau of Investigation(CBI). As your job, you take cases, new ones all the time. Some hard to solve, some easy. Some you might not solve at all. But all the while you need to keep ahead of your opposing team. Your aim is to become the best detective team in California.

The way this will work is you will create your characters and I will assign you into teams. I think it will be more interesting if you don't know what teams you're going to be in to start with, but if you desperately want to be in a certain person's team just ask and I might consider it.

I will start each case by giving the leader of each team a full, detailed description of the crime scene. You, the detectives, will then have to piece together the clues I leave for you in my description to solve the case.

At the beginning of the case, you will have only the crime scene, but if you find, or think you have found specific evidence you can request certain things such as toxicology reports, post-mortem reports, financials, phone records and whatnot. Of course, eventually this will lead you to the perpetrator and you can attempt to make an arrest.

As I will be the one writing most of the cases I can't really have much input in the roleplay, however, I will be creating a character to give you hints and pointers when you need them. Mostly when your case reaches a dead end.

Pointers for your bio;
Name, Gender and Age are all pretty self explanatory.
A Face Claim is the celebrity or person you have chosen to be the face of your character. It must be a real person. No anime pictures. Clothing can be described or given as pictures, but please put all pictures in a spoiler of their own so you don't stretch the page.
Personality must be a few lines long, accurately describing what your character is like.
Strengths and weaknesses are general. They can be anything from a fear of heights to a severe personality disorder. Be unique and remember to be realistic.
History should be used to detail anything significant that has happened to your character in the past. Anything that may affect the roleplay.
Other is for just about anything that isn't in the bio. Family members, previous jobs. Whatever you want to add.

What role you want in the team can vary as your team will share most roles other than Leadership. Most of you will be field agents but if you so wish you could also work on a computer. This part is mainly to request a leadership position.. or as it may be, state that you'd rather not be the leader.
Just be sure to give your reasons in the 'Why?' part.

My Character

Name Jay Collins

Clothes/Accessories ect: Jay tends to just wear a plain black suit and trousers to work. His shirt underneath is usually white, or a very pale blue. Sometimes he wears a tie but mostly he doesn't.
Jay's casual wear consists mostly of jeans and checked shirts or coloured polo shirts.
Personality: Jay is a rather laid back person who, despite his track record, doesn't seem to take his work seriously. He is quite the opposite however, and just feels that people should take detective work a little more lightly. The reason he chooses not to wear a tie most days to work is that he feels it brings a level of 'casual-ness' that otherwise wouldn't be there. Overall, Jay is liked by most people in the CBI, even those who he doesn't share a team with. Sometimes it gets to the point where he is willing to help other teams in his spare time.
Strengths: Jay is an overall great detective with his eidetic(photographic) memory. Almost nothing escapes his notice, which is why some teams turn to him for a second opinion when they reach dead ends in their cases.
Weaknesses: He is rather carefree, sometimes unknowingly putting people in danger with his actions. Jay is also a very bad shot, even with most of his training.
History: Jay aced his entrance exam for the police academy. After graduating, he rose up through the ranks, earning himself a decent reputation and becoming a homicide detective.
Other: He is currently single and his favourite fruits are pineapple and watermelon.
What role you hope to have in your team: Not leader.
Why? Because it would be kinda stupid since I'm the one writing the crimes. xD

Her wardrobe isn't usually subject to much change except the color of her top XD
Personality: Lily is very out spoken and tends to bend the rules if it means getting what she wants; justice. Of course, this usually lands her in a lot of trouble but she continues anyway. Since she is so strong-willed she can be somewhat stubborn and usually needs a bit of persuading to see anyone else's point of view.
Strengths: Very skilled with words and can use them to help out in certain situations, like getting herself out of trouble or a hostage situation, etc.
Weaknesses: Lily is super caring toward her team so if any of them are in danger she tends to launch herself in the midst of whatever trap might be being set. She is also deathly afraid of thunder storms and tends to lock herself in her office with a cup of coffee when those occur during work

Clothes/Accessories ect: Usually she wears a white blouse underneath a black jacket witha a black uniform-like skirt. Carries around a small concealed handgun in case of emergancies.
Personality: She's really uptight and serious all the time, and she's a natural-born leader. She's tenacious and smart but she's blissfully unaware of the term "fun".
Strengths: Her tenacity and wits/brains
Weaknesses: She's reeeaaaallly uptight and doesnt really understand the term "cutting loose."

Personality: He loves to make jokes and have fun. He is pretty social but not the party loving kind of guy, but he will hang out with friends and co-workers out of work.
Strengths: Computer Hacking, Software Engineering
Weaknesses: Sometimes makes too many jokes,
History: He had a normal childhood growing up. He was always into computers and technology, once he went to high school he got into programming and hacking. When he went to college, he decided to work for the government in some way so that he could use his hacking skills for something usefull.

What role you hope to have in your team: I want him to be a computer forensic tech, so he digs through computers to find information. Could he be nuetral? Because thats how most forensic techs of any kind are, at least I think so. If not, thats fine.

Clothes/Accessories ect: Rose wears dark but professional clothing. She'll wear a black dress jacket with a bright but not blinding bright tops. Along with black dress pants. On the feild she wears blue jeans. Ex: A royal blue top with a black jacket.

Personality: Rose is a fun, and loving kid. But when the situation get serious she will lose the loving side of her and will take the matter as if it would be the last thing that she will do.

Strengths: looks on the bright side of things and tries to be there for her team. Rose is also a hard worker.

Weaknesses: she sometimes taks things literaly. She is stuborn when it comes to a case. This will often lead her to lack of sleep and food.

History: Rose had grown up with a personality problem which led her to go to a special school but other than that she grew up happy. Her main drean was to be a "Crime fighter". She has just graduated collage and is now a new recrute to the CBI.

Other: Rose has a slight personality issue. Prossed with caution of outbursts and randome talk of books.

What role you hope to have in your team: Feild oprative

Why? Likes to get in on the action, and loves to see dead bodies.
