Richard vs. Raven

Raven stepped up to the battlefield and quietly antd tossed out Solaris, her Kirlia. She waited for her opponent to make their move.

Richard stepped out onto the battlefield, his beige coat fluttering out behind him. He watched as the girl before him sent out a Kirlia. He decided to use his Togetic first.

Whimsy materialized on the battlefield, waiting for Rick's first move.

"Solaris, Start up with a Lucky Chant!" Raven called out. She didn't show very much emotion, just the resolve to win.

"Sweet Kiss!"
Rick decided to start with a status inducing move. The Togetic smiled, fluttering up into the air. She put her paws to her mouth before blowing a kiss towards the Kirlia. A flurry of huge pink hearts headed straight for Solaris.

"Dodge and counter with Shadow Sneak!" Raven called. Solaris answered with a nod and the sunk into the ground as a shadow, passing under the Sweet Kiss attack and the jumping up right underneath Whimsy.

"Whimsy dodge it!"

Still in the air, the Togetic only needed to fly higher to dodge the attack. It was ill suited for use on a flying type Pokemon.
"Magical Leaf!"

The Togetic summoned some leaves and they all went hurtling towards Solaris.

"Dodge, Solaris, and then use Confusion!" Raven shouted The Kirlia landed gently on the ground, her Lucky Chant protecting her from any direct hits as she danced lightly away from the Magical Leaf. She then began to focus her psychic powers on the Togetic, sending her attack at full blast.

"Mirror Move!"
The Togetic brought her paws together, a small blue ball forming between them. Raising it above her head she too used Confusion, focusing an exact copy of the Kirlia's Confusion onto Solaris. She endured his version of the move as she countered with her own. The Togetic was still fluttering gently in the air, though her face was a picture of concentration.
