Skyrim- A magical meeting

Alain was taking a stroll around the college at night, this was the best time for him since he was a vampire, he was reading a book on the oblivion crisis

Fendil what out of the Hall of Containment with a book of his own. He wasn't reading it, he was actually returning it. It was a simple book on Wards, but he was to add some of its techniques to his notes. "Ah, hello Alain." He greeted him. It must've been around one in the morning when he was done.

He waved slightly, he was thinking of heading into winterhold to quench his thirst and the drink he wanted didnt come in a glass "Hello Fendil, what are you doing at this time of hour?"

"Just returning this book to the Arcamacium. What about you?"Then he dismissed the thought. "Actually, would you mind helping me with something? Its a project for the College and I'm expected there.I could use someone to help me get there." He stopped to talk. He'd known Alain since he'd been to the College. But he'd never really gotten to know him.

Za'maru walked up to the college through the main entrance, he had just returned from some ruins and would have like to rest, but he had been requested for a certain task for the College, probably something trivial he figured.

"Yes ofcourse i can help you get there" He didnt really care, his bloodlust could wait

"Alright. I'll just-" Then a student walked out of the Hall of Elements and was passing by. "Oh Garund, would you return this to the Arcamacium for me?" He asked. "Sure." He handed him the book then the student went off. "Alright. Oh hello Za'maru. We were just about to leave. Follow me." He pulled out an unused torch and used flames to light it. "This won't last very long. Lets get moving."

"Where are you guys headed?" Za'maru asked.

He shrugged his shoulders "He promises adventure, so im happy"

He looked back."I believe you were to come as well Za'maru. "Come, we're headed to Saarthal. There is supposed to be a large concentration of entachted items there. Some we could make use of." He turned and began walking again.

"Great," he said sarcastically, "Don't worry, I don't need any rest." he said turning around with Fendil.

"Saarthal... a very intersting place, i have been there once" he then muttered something uhearable along the lines of "well not in your life time anyway"

Fendil payed no mind to either of them. It was a quick walk from WinterHold to Saarthal. Luckily nothing got in there way besides a small snow gust blowing out the torch every now and then. Once they arrived he put the well used torch in a Barrel beside the doorway. "Alright, I know you both already know this but be careful. The ancient Nords were paranoid. Traps will be in some of the deeper chambers. Maybe some Draugr. Otherwise it should be safe." Then he opend the door and entered.

"Do Nord burial crypts ever have anything but Draugr?" Za'maru partially asked and joked.

"Dragon priests, spiders, skeletons.... vampires" he smirked at the last remark

"Lets pray no Dragon priest. As if the College doesn't have a bad enough reputation." They passed down a hall into the excavation sight. "We're supposed to be..." He looked down to the burial chambers. "There I think. Lets look for some enchantments." He went his own way. "Tell someone if you find anything exceptioanally interesting.

"Alright then," Za'maru said, he then started looking through some of the burial crypts to find any enchanted items.

He started to look around realizing his bloodlust had caught up with him, but he had learned to restrain it over the years "Not much here, an enchanted ring but not really that special"

Fendil drifted towards the back of the chamber. This is what we came all the way out here for? Then in the back right corner he saw a strange pattern carved into the wall. He approached it and saw an amulet latched in. It looked of importance. He yanked it out of its place and the wall shot out a wave of warmth in his face. He backed up but behind him he heard a large sliding down then a bang that echoed through the sight. He slowly turned around and saw he was locked in the back chamber.

Za'maru looked up when he heard the loud movement, "Did you hear something?" he asked. He was sleep deprived and was unsure of wether or not he was hearing things.

He rushed over to where he heard the noise, his vampire agility hekped him get there faster he saw Fendil traped "are you ok?" he paused for a second "That wall... it seems strange, did that amulet come from there?" he pointed to the amulet

"Yes..." He looked back at the wall as well and then back at the amulet. There was a wave of red coming from where the amulet was. "Thats strange. It looks like they're connected. I wonder..." He shot a firebolt at the wall but nothing happened.

Za'maru ducked when he felt the shock come from the firebolt hitting the wall, "Don't go destroying anything!" he shouted, remaining calm in the presence of the trap.

"Hey put the amulet on... and try that again" he was pretty cood with enchanted things, so he knew what would happen

Fendil looked at him with a confused expression, then put it on and shot another fire bolt into the wall. This time the wall shattered and collapsed into rubble despite the firebolt not being that strong. The spears all slid down back underground. He took off the amulet. By now a few other mages had gathered around whispering things to one another. The wall opened up into a nordic hallway. "...How strange" He stepped closer and peeked inside.
