Grass meets Ice

kageyoshi wasexploring the Icicle woods just to get out of the quiet town for a while. Ren and Starfire were off on thier own missions and there was nothing interesting on the Mission Board. he thought back to when he was an Eevee and he was learning more about Glacia's past. She grew up around this area. His ears drooped down saddly as he thought of her. The leafeon knew that she was now in a better place. He looked up at the sky as it started to snow, "Your home is beautiful, Glacia." he said to himself.

A solitary pale form appeared amongst the snow as it began to fall faster. It's long flowing body looked almost like a dress. From her distance she spoke to the Leafeon.
"Not many share your opinion of this place."

The voice sounded eerie... but in a way, it was almost beautiful.

Kageyoshi looked up quickly as soon as he heared the voice. He could hardly see with all the snow, "Who are you?!" he asked with his fur on end trying to find the sorce of the voice. being in unfamiliar territory he had to keep his gaurd up.

An eerie cry, obviously belonging to the same pokemon that had spoken before, cut through the air. It sounded like harsh winds were blowing within it... as though within the cry, there was an eternal blizzard. One more powerful than the small snowstorm they were experiencing now.

The snow continued to get heavier, the Froslass drew closer to the Leafeon.

Kageyoshi flinched that the strength of the snowstorm. He could see something drawing closer to him, "If I attack this wind will send it back with more power behind it." he whispered to himself. He let out a small growl of frustrarion, "Stop hiding and show yourself!" he shouted above the wind.

"I'm not hiding," the voice replied. It had a harsh, cold tone.
It was true. The Froslass wasn't intending to hide despite the fact that she was still unsure of the Leafeon's intentions. She was merely surrounded by the snowflakes, meaning she was unseen.

The snow is getting more and more heavy. I know I've seen this before, but where? Kageyoshi asked himself. He tried to think about it for a while, back when he was an Eevee he had gotten lost in a snowstorm similar to this. That was when he first met Glacia after she explained after the storm had subsided. "Is this you Snow Cloak ability?" he asked calmly.

The Froslass smiled, seemingly pleased by the Leafeon's knowledge of her ability.
"Yes."

The winds of the small blizzard were reaching their highest point as she spoke and then began to calm down again. Eventually, it reached a point where it was just a few small snowflakes floating down to the ground. The snow didn't seem to be stopping though. The soft flakes kept falling, only they were more gentle.

The snow began to slow down helping Kageyoshi to see better. Opening his eyes more to see the Pokemon before him he let out a small gasp. Standing a few feet away from him was a Frosslass. It looked like she was the spirit of the snow and ice, when the sun hit her transparent body it almost shined through her. The Leafeon could see tiny ice crystals shining around her body almost like and ice sculpture. This was the first time that the Leafeon had seen a Frosslass.

The Froslass continued to smile. Her pale, flowing body seeming almost like a sculpture. She was at home in the icy forest and every little detail of her seemed to show this.
"Hello."

She didn't get much contact with those few pokemon that ventured into the forest. She usually kept herself hidden, speaking only to those who dwell within Icicle Woods' boundaries. However, she had decided that if she were to know what was going on outside the confines of the Icy Lands, she would be able to better protect the area.

Kageyoshi stood there slightly dubmfounded. When he realized this he quickly shook himself and spoke calmly, "Hello, my name is Kageyoshi. may I ask for your name?" he asked politely. I'm not sure if this Pokemon is hostile best keep on her good side. he thought.

"Koori." she replied. There was still a hint of that eerie echo in her voice, the one feature that you could identify as belonging to a Froslass. That hollow hint of the raging blizzard behind the almost soft sound.
